Andrea is from Abbeville, La, graduated from Vermilion Catholic High School, attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and then her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been working in the counseling field for over ten years.

Throughout her years as a counselor, she has had the opportunity to work with many different individuals, couples, and families within different settings helping them through difficult times. She learned about the RescYOU Group when a co-worker of her sister lost her son. Once she learned about the organization, their mission, and their services she wanted to become involved. She is looking forward to being a part of this organization to be able to provide support, education, and awareness of child loss.

Andrea currently resides in Lafayette, La, and has one son. When she is not counseling, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, eating out with her friends, and spending time with her family.
