Libbie Harrison is a Family Support Coordinator for the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (LOPA). Her position with LOPA is supporting grieving families of organ and tissue donors across the state of Louisiana. Offering specific grief resources to the families of these heroes for over 20 years.

Libbie desperately searched for peer grief support when her 15-year-old son, Justin died in a tragic accident. Honoring Justin's wishes, she said yes to organ donation and the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency made his wish come true. Justin saved five lives, gave sight to two and gave Libbie a mission.

While she found comfort from many, the 'peer' support piece was missing. The RescYOU Group is an answer to Libbie's prayers and the prayers of many bereaved parents across Acadiana.
